I grew up with this small chain of pizza/cheesesteak joints as a family favorite, and after attending college in the Philly area for 4 years and trying most of the famed spots on offer in that cheesesteak Mecca (Geno's, Pat's, Jim's, etc.), I would still rate TC Landos as the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Their menu includes a large variety of options for steak sandwiches (all of which are packed to the point of overflowing, and delicious), as well as some other solid sub offerings (the Budster is a personal favorite), and their pizza is excellent as well. With multiple locations and new online ordering, I probably hit TC's more often than I should, but they never disappoint.

Got a hankering for a ridiculously good steak and cheese? This is the place to be! Sister restaurant to the amazing Carl's subs in Waltham, I've been eating at the two of them just about my whole life. The teriyaki steak and cheese is absolutely to die for!
Sandwiches are pretty good, but they are made really fast. So you don't have to wait all that long which is nice. And a small is pretty big too.
Spent 15 years in Philadelphia before moving to Mass. this is the best cheesesteak/sub shop in the state. Look no further!
Been going here for years. Their steak subs are large and tasty, though you may need a note from your cardiologist to order one. There are only four or five seats, so it's basically just take out. Not cheap, but worth every cent, since the days of the Enormous Subs seem to have passed. Sigh.
I've been going to TC Lando's Acton for many, many years and they have been pretty consistent over this time unlike some restaurants I frequent. Portions are large for the money, quality of ingredients is good and service is efficient. It is not a dine-in type of place although there are some tables outside if the weather is decent. Carl and his team do a good job getting food out quickly. I have never had the pizza, mostly Italian Cold Cut and Steak and Cheese sub. My daughter is a big fan of the meatball, that too seems to have a generous amount of meatball and is a good size meal. Just finishing up my Italian Cold Cut as I write this, and it had a generous amount of meat and just the right amount of toppings (and a sprinkle of some herbs/spices to top it off). Well done Carl & company, thanks for another affordable and filling lunch. I'll be back in a few weeks.
If you want a steak and cheese, this is the place to go! Very quick service, seating and the sandwich is delicious. I like mine with peppers and onions but they make anything you desire.

We were there in September and we both split a delicious Italian sub. The sandwich was loaded and we were stuffed, We would definitely go back when in the area.
